Bob and Rowena started designing cross stitch kits to raise funds towards a new Parish Centre at St. Luke's Church, Stone Cross. The Parish Centre is now built and in daily use. The kits are still available but our fund raising these days concentrates on bead work and lace.

A typical kit, shown below, includes 14 count Aida fabric, threads, needle, chart, presentation card and envelope.

The kits include St. Luke's Church, Stained Glass Window, Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly, Herb Bags and various bookmarks. Many of the completed kits are shown on the next page.
A completed and framed church kit (below left) hangs in our lounge and, new in 2006, are filled lavender bags decorated with black work (below right).
